                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 7740 LEE
                   HIGHWAY, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF LEE
                   HIGHWAY NORTHEAST OF BONNY OAKS DRIVE FROM C-1
                   HIGHWAY COMMERCIAL ZONE TO M-1 MANUFACTURING
                   ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 7740 Lee Highway, being
                on the southeast line of Lee Highway northeast of
                Bonny Oaks Drive.  Lots 1-3, W.C. Thomas
                Subdivision, not recorded, and an adjoining
                unrecorded tract; being the property described as
                Tract One in deed book 2817, page 517, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 139F-C-5.
               
         from C-1 Highway Commercial Zone to M-1 Manufacturing Zone.
        
              SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 
shall
         be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Subject to use as a garage towing service only;
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
